The 'I Will Survive' [anti-bullying ad](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-friend-max-hate) by Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi for VH1 puts a spin on the [iconic song](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/music-deserves-bose) by Gloria Gaynor, showing kids summoning their inner strength to put up with whatever nonsense school bullies throw their way. Although the kids in this VH1 ad put up with being strapped to skateboards, tied to flagpoles and getting swirlies, the picked-on kids sing about the revenge that they will get some day.

The victims' songs depict being able to punish the bullies in the workplace later in life, since these geeks are the kinds of people that the ad suggests are meant to grow into employers. Despite the ad's good intentions, encouraging retaliation down the road seems no better, even if everyone does love a [good revenge story](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monday-platform) to get back at a bully.
