The Anteater Bug Vacuum is so gentle that it can pick up the insects without hurting them. Unlike typical garbage suckers, this vacuum transports the little bugs into a [removable transparent compartment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bissell-cleanview-swivel-pet-reach) where kids can observe or even release them back into the wild. Modeled after a real anteater, this device runs on four AAA batteries and is easy to turn on. Aside from the discovery and experimental part of catching insects, this [little sucker](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mopy) is also great for getting those creepy crawlies in the house without having to feel them crunch beneath the napkin as you squish them. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Gentle Insect Catching Devices:** Opportunities for creating more innovative insect catchers that do not harm the insects. - **Observation Tools for Kids:** Opportunities for creating more educational tools that allow kids to observe insects up close without harming them. - **Eco-friendly Insect Control:** Opportunities for creating more sustainable ways to capture and release insects instead of killing them. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Toy Industry:** Opportunities for toy companies to create more eco-friendly and educational toys that teach kids about science and nature. - **Pest Control Industry:** Opportunities for pest control companies to develop more humane and sustainable ways to deal with insect infestations. - **Education Industry:** Opportunities for educators to incorporate insect observation and preservation tools into their curriculum to teach kids about science and the environment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Electric Fly Swatters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fly-insect-trap.md) - [Mite-Eradicating Vacuum Cleaners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jigoo-s300-pro.md) - [Convenient Insect Bite Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bite-kit.md) - [Smart Home Insect Traps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zevo-flying-insect-trap.md) - [Disinfecting Compact Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/x1-robot-bed.md) - [Stationary Pet-Friendly Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eyevac-pet.md) - [Pet-Specific Handheld Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blackdecker-furbuster.md) - [Style-Conscious Anti-Insect Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mosqo-bug-zapper.md) - [Educational Insect Puzzle Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/makerkid-kits.md)
