Conceived by Anoop M. of Cochin, India, this pair embodies a contemporary flair that is quite unique. First of all, the creator decided to make the vessels [transparent](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-glassware) so that the user can keep an eye on the volume of the seasonings inside. Perhaps modeled on the familiar diner-style dispensers, these ones take conical shapes and feature vertical ribbing details. That tactile feature of Anoop M.'s salt and pepper shakers extrapolates from the formal manipulation of the glass, however. Instead, the containers are encased in [colorful fins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tip-top-glass) made from another material, contributing as visual accents and easy grips. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Transparent Seasoning Dispensers:** Designers are exploring transparent materials for seasoning dispensers to provide a clear view of the volume of seasonings inside. - **Contemporary Flair for Kitchen Products:** Designers are infusing a contemporary flair into everyday kitchen products, like salt and pepper shakers, to create unique and visually appealing items. - **Tactile Fin Accents:** Designers are adding colorful fins made from different materials to provide visual accents and easy grips on seasoning dispensers. ### Where This Applies - **Kitchenware:** Kitchenware manufacturers can explore the use of transparent materials and contemporary designs to create innovative and distinctive seasoning dispensers. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can incorporate seasoning dispensers with tactile fin accents as decorative and functional kitchen accessories. - **Product Design:** Product design firms can experiment with unconventional materials and forms to create contemporary and visually appealing kitchen products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Contemporary Pepper Grinder Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zjddg.md) - [MSG Shaker Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shaker-sets.md) - [Warm Wooden Condiment Grinders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/michele-de-lucchi.md) - [Hourglass-Shaped Kitchen Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grains-of-time.md) - [Functional Table Seasonings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-seasonings.md) - [Creative Dipping Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-sea.md) - [Premium Peppercorn Seasonings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-peppercorn.md) - [Smart Spice Grinders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gravity-grinder.md) - [Exquisite Circular Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/salt-vases.md)
