Perhaps this is a crazy notion to some, but with the Annexo Lamp, it is quite a reality. Simple in design and symmetrical in shape, this fine piece of lighting decor looks good and is easy to hang anywhere you put it -- the desk, the wall, heck even the ceiling if you're feeling adventerous. Designed by [Creative Affair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-living), the Annexo Lamp features a blown glass top that houses the bulb and a choice of either turned cork, polypropylene, or turned white carrara marble for that extra fancy look. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Versatile Lighting:** The Annexo Lamp showcases the trend of lighting fixtures that can be easily hung on various surfaces, offering flexibility and convenience in home decor. - **Symmetrical Design:** The symmetrical shape of the Annexo Lamp exemplifies the trend of balanced and visually pleasing lighting aesthetics. - **Multi-materiality:** The Annexo Lamp's combination of blown glass, cork, polypropylene, and carrara marble reflects the trend of incorporating multiple materials to create visually interesting and unique lighting pieces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The Annexo Lamp introduces disruptive innovation opportunities in the home decor industry by offering versatile and aesthetically pleasing lighting options that can be easily hung in various settings and surfaces. - **Lighting Fixtures:** The symmetrical and adaptable design of the Annexo Lamp presents opportunities for disruptive innovation in the lighting fixtures industry, allowing for more creative and flexible approaches to lighting design. - **Material Manufacturing:** The combination of different materials in the Annexo Lamp opens up potential disruptive innovation opportunities in the material manufacturing industry, encouraging experimentation and collaboration in creating unique lighting products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Elegant Axis-Mounted Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendulum-lamp.md) - [Tunnel-Like Wall Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/endless-wall-lamp.md) - [Versatile Torch-Style Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cono.md) - [Illusory Multidimensional Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-light.md) - [Sculptural Glass Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuloa.md) - [Geometric Industrial Desktop Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-lamp.md) - [Ultra-Flexible Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anywhereuse-lamp.md) - [Umbrella-Inspired Whimsical Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wasaga-lamp.md)
