The Minnesota DNR's range of stamps currently includes trout, salmon, waterfowl, pheasant, walleye and turkey. In 2018, a 2018 Walleye Stamp is set to be added to the collection, which will support the stocking of walleye in lakes and provide more places for people to fish. The newest addition to Minnesota DNR's [stamp collection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forever-stamps) was created as part of a competition open to any Minnesota resident. These stamps can be purchased at any time of the year, without a hunting or fishing license. As the purchase of the newest stamp represents a gesture to help improve the chances of an angler catching a walleye, the product is both a collectible and a great gift. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Collectible Conservation Stamps:** Creating more collectible animal stamps to support fish and wildlife conservation efforts. - **Crowdsourcing Wildlife Artwork:** Hosting art competitions to create unique and collectible conservation stamps. - **Innovative Wildlife Fundraisers:** Exploring new and creative ways to fundraise for wildlife conservation efforts through collectibles. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Philately (stamp Collecting):** The stamp collecting industry can benefit from producing more collectible conservation stamps. - **Wildlife Conservation:** The wildlife conservation industry can increase funding through collectible stamp sales. - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can benefit from hosting competitions to create unique collectible stamps for wildlife conservation efforts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Waterfall-inspired Stamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stamp-design.md) - [Thematic Postal Stamp Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stamp-releases-for-2025.md) - [Nostalgic Art-Inspired Postal Stamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/usps-stamp.md) - [Photographer-Honoring Stamp Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ansel-adams.md) - [Fishing-Focused Fundraising Sweepstakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hooked-on-habitat.md) - [Skateboard-Inspired Stamp Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skateboard-inspired-stamp-collection.md) - [Flower-Themed Stamp Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowerthemed-stamp-collection.md) - [Provincial Fishing Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/provincial-fishing-app.md) - [Wildlife Conservation Decor Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-sandlpare.md)
