# Equestrian-Handled Mugs These Animal Mugs Creatively Substitute a Handle for a Pair of Horse Legs By M | Published 2014-04-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animal-mugs References: [etsy](https://www.etsy.com/listing/174606236/white-ceramic-mug-with-gold-hooves?ref=trending_item) & [etsy](https://www.etsy.com/shop/barceramics?ref=l2-shopheader-name) If you're looking for a creative way to drink your coffee in the morning, why not try these [ceramic animal mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/helen-levi) that replace a conventional coffee cup handle with a pair of horse hooves? These animal mugs are made from high-quality white ceramic by Esty shop owner Barbara Sniegula. Each mug has a tall, slender and minimalist design. The ingenious part of this mug is that it has a pair of [white ceramic horse legs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stanley-fire-horse-collection) instead of a conventional cup handle. The horse legs are dainty, yet sturdy, and provide the drinker with a creative, alternative method to hold their [morning coffee cup](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cowboy-coffee-kits) of java. If you know someone who loves horses, this cup would be a great gift for them. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Animal-handled Mugs:** Ceramic mugs with unconventional animal-shaped handles provide a unique drinking experience. - **Minimalist Design Mugs:** Mugs with minimal and sleek design aesthetics provide a modern touch to drinking. - **Creative Handle Design:** Innovative and creative handle designs for mugs offer unique and appealing alternatives to traditional mugs. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can experiment with unconventional designs for daily use products such as mugs. - **Kitchenware:** Companies in the kitchenware industry can create more unique and contemporary designs of coffee mugs for modern spaces. - **Gift Industry:** The gift industry can market these creative animal mugs as a thoughtful and quirky present for animal lovers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Handle-Free Coffee Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinch-hold.md) - [Horse-Inspired Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-falabella-stool.md) - [Dinosaur-Shaped Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kawaii-ceramic-dinosaur-mug.md) - [Bell-Shaped Coffee Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-mug.md) - [Hidden Cat Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cute-cat-coffee-cup.md) - [Festive Tree-Inspired Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-tree-mugs.md) - [New Year Cafe Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/starbucks-japan-year-of-the-horse.md) - [Ergonomically Designed Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergonomically-designed-mug.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Drinkware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heart-doublewall-latte-mugs.md)
