The concept of the aesthetically pleasing projects explores the relationship "between humans and figurative object." Headed by founders Anna Lindgren and Sofia Lagerkvist, the project displays harmony-driven silhouettes that are made with [wool and ceramics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kvadrat-raf-simons). Vitra tasked Front with creating an accessible decor line that generated "conversations about bringing a sense of nature into the room." While the smaller pieces are ceramic and make for exceptional shelf embellishments, the biggest object in the animal home decor collection is a 3D-printed knit resting bear. The shape and size of the piece allow it to be used "as a [stool, ottoman or backrest](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-bun)," granting the decor piece with not only modern aesthetic properties but functionality, as well. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Adorable Animal Home Decor:** Opportunity to tap into the growing demand for cute and modern animal-inspired home decor. - **Harmony-driven Silhouettes:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to develop home decor products that focus on harmonious and aesthetically pleasing designs. - **3d-printed Knit Home Decor:** Emerging trend of utilizing 3D printing technology to create functional and visually appealing home decor pieces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for innovative companies to expand their product offerings by incorporating animal-inspired designs into their home decor collections. - **Ceramics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for ceramic manufacturers to collaborate with designers and create unique animal-themed home decor pieces. - **Textile and Knitwear:** Potential market for textile and knitwear companies to explore the production of 3D-printed knit home decor items that combine aesthetics and functionality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Charming Workplace Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoozoo-collection-by-narbutas.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Cozy Sheep-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flock-furniture.md) - [Juxtaposed Materials Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wool-diaries-collection.md) - [Wilderness-Inspired Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/habitat-collection.md) - [Minimalist Pet Decor Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-pet-furniture-collection.md) - [Animal-Shaped Luxury Beanbags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ark-collection.md) - [Geometrical Head-Shaped Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vondom-adan-collection.md) - [Creature-Inspired Home Good Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-jeffreys-loverboy.md)
