# Animalistic Coffee Sets Hold Animal Cup Handles and Giraffe Spoons Next Time You Drink Coffee By Jen Chae | Published 2013-06-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animal-cup References: [en.pinkoi](http://en.pinkoi.com/product/1vFPeT_z) & [en.pinkoi](http://en.pinkoi.com/store/prime-collection) This animal cup and giraffe sugar pot ensemble by Prime Collection adds a simply organic touch to your kitchen table. With the sugar spoon in the form of a giraffe's head and the cup handles like the trunk of an elephant and the horns of a ram, these creative designs demand more attention to detail than your standard tea set. Though the animals are detailed in design, both the sugar pot and cups are completely colorless, made of white ceramic. The cups and pot are very simple cylindrical shapes, but are accented with the sole animal heads. This keeps the designs minimalistic and chic in appearance without looking childish. This would be perfect for the chic adult who also has an obsession with animals. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Animal-inspired Home Decor:** With a growing interest in unique home decor, animal-inspired designs offer a playful and organic touch to living spaces. - **Creative Kitchenware Designs:** Innovative kitchenware designs that incorporate animal-inspired elements are gaining popularity and offer a new level of creativity. - **Minimalistic Dining Accents:** The trend towards minimalistic design in dining accents is being disrupted with the addition of animal-inspired elements like cup handles and sugar spoons. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Animal-inspired home decor is a potential disruptive innovation opportunity for companies within the home decor industry. - **Kitchenware:** Incorporating animal-inspired designs into kitchenware could present opportunities for innovative companies looking to disrupt the scene. - **Tableware:** Minimalistic tableware with added animal-inspired elements like cup handles and sugar spoons is a possible opportunity for companies in the tableware industry looking to introduce fresh designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hidden Cat Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cute-cat-coffee-cup.md) - [Curvaceous Animalistic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookpet-coffee-table.md) - [Canadian Animal-Themed Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/our-animals-maple-syrup-jar.md) - [Anthropomorphic Cup Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amusesable-coffee.md) - [Surrealist-Inspired Tea Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tea-for-two-collection.md) - [Utensil Holding Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1handmug.md) - [Animal-Themed Cleaning Items](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/koala-sponges.md) - [Retro Cartoony Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/platypus-coffee-machine.md) - [Vibrantly Designed Playful Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hem.md)
