Instead of pasting an image onto the cover, the [Angry Birds iPad Case design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peanuts-collections) is actually shaped after the characters. Designers have added details such as the tails, ears and facial features to make the accessory look like the fiery avians. The case is made from [felt, which will protect the device](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touch-grass-collection) from getting scratched up. A Velcro closure has been used to secure the tablet in place. So far there are only two Angry Birds iPad Case models, which include the red bird and the green pig. Hopefully the other birds will be introduced in the near future. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Expressive Tablet Covers:** The trend of tablet covers that are designed to resemble characters or objects adds a fun and quirky element to device protection. - **Character-themed Phone Accessories:** The growing trend of character-themed phone accessories offers an opportunity for designers to create unique and expressive products. - **Felt Device Cases:** The use of felt material for device cases provides a soft and protective option for consumers while offering a platform for creative designs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can benefit from creating expressive and character-themed accessories for smartphones, tablets, and other devices. - **Gift and Novelty:** The gift and novelty industry can tap into the demand for unique and quirky device accessories with character-themed tablet covers and phone cases. - **Design and Fashion:** The design and fashion industry can explore opportunities in creating innovative and stylish felt device cases that cater to consumer preferences for both protection and aesthetics. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fashionable Inflated Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-case-2.md) - [Sleek Tablet Case Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ryze-360.md) - [Creature-Themed Tech Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-3.md) - [Collectible Toy Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonny-angel-x-casetify.md) - [Nostalgic Cartoon Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-x-care-bears.md) - [Playful Tech Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-x-miffy.md) - [Cute Webcam-Covering Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cover-me-camera.md) - [Adorable Artist-Designed Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/javier-calleja-1.md) - [Shock-Absorbing Laptop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-5.md)
