# Angled Glue Sticks The An-Glue Ensures Precise Application Every Time By Gil Cohen | Published 2012-11-01 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anglue References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2012/10/31/for-crafty-glues/) For precision gluing, the An-Glue helps you get right to the edge. Creative duo Hansol Ha and Ro Heehun realized that normal glue sticks present a problem. When using them, your hand tends to block your line of vision, resulting in messy glue application and going off the edge of the paper. That is why they came up with the An-Glue, which works on an angle so that you can see what you are doing. The [oval-shaped stick](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allpurpose-beauty-balm) is thinner than a normal glue stick, however this is compensation for the [angled edge](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quadpack-serenity-tube) which applies just as thickly. The ridge at the bottom of the stick is another crafty solution that prevents the glue stick from rolling off the edge of the table. The An-Glue ensures you apply glue exactly where you need it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Precision Gluing:** The An-Glue provides a solution for precise glue application. - **Improved Visibility:** The angled design of the An-Glue allows users to see exactly where they are applying the glue. - **Preventing Messy Application:** The ridge at the bottom of the An-Glue stick prevents it from rolling off the edge of the table, ensuring clean application. ### Where This Applies - **Stationery:** The An-Glue presents an innovative solution for precise gluing in the stationery industry. - **Arts and Crafts:** The An-Glue's angled design and improved visibility can revolutionize glue application in the arts and crafts industry. - **Packaging:** The An-Glue's precise application and prevention of messy glue can disrupt the packaging industry by improving product sealing processes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Precise Angular Nail Clippers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rotating-nail-clipper.md) - [Clamping Stationery Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peleg-design-clamptape.md) - [Clipping Pen Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clippen.md) - [Pattern-Drawing Dual-Tip Pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colored-curve-pens.md) - [Stone-Grip Conical Pencils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aluminum-sphere.md) - [Fine-Tuned Knife Sharpeners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knife-sharpener.md) - [Swipe-On Perfume Sticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perfume-stick.md) - [Angled Workstation Whiteboard Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluidstance-slope.md) - [Sleek Lace Trimmer Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lace-up.md)
