These lovely angled tables present a fresh spin on minimalist design. The components themselves certainly amount to lightweight and cleanly constructed objects, yet their divergence from the rigid geometries of 90-degree angles gives them whimsicality and personality.

Dimitry Kozinenko's [powder-coated metal side tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twist-side-table) comprise four spindly legs each, round surfaces and wide perimeters that are the source of the apparent asymmetries. The broad bands encircle the tabletops, fusing high on one side and low on the opposite. The visual effect is like looking at a coin drop––no coincidence, as Coin is the name of the collection.

What's interesting about this series of angled tables is evidence of a shifting contemporary style of design. Rigid minimalism has been all the rage for some time, but many consumers are looking for more [playfulness in pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co) these days.
