# Angular Ceramic Sink Designs The Conceptual 'Angle' Washbasin Adds a Minimalist Touch By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2022-09-02 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angle-washbasin References: [yankodesign](https://www.yankodesign.com/2022/09/01/angle-ceramic-washbasin-adds-posh-minimalist-look-to-bathroom/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=angle-ceramic-washbasin-adds-posh-minimalist-look-to-bathroom) & [linkedin](https://www.linkedin.com/in/elifbulutt/?locale=en_US) The conceptual 'Angle' washbasin has been designed by Elif Bulut as an ultra-minimalist take on the humble [bathroom sink](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-bathroom-design) to keep it in line with consumer style preferences. The sink appears almost as a piece of paper with creases that angle water down to the slender line-like drain, which gives it an almost open face design. Crafted using [ceramic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-collection), the sink has a monochromatic color scheme thanks to a [matching dark faucet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/botte-mixer) and would look right at home within a living space, spa or hotel. The conceptual 'Angle' washbasin greatly opens up water and sink access to make the design as welcoming as possible. The angular construction of the sink allows it to be used on its own or side-by-side with multiple units. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Ceramic Sink Designs:** There is an opportunity to create more minimalist, angular sink designs using ceramic that match consumer style preferences for monochromatic color schemes. - **Open-face Sink Designs:** Designers can create more open-face sink designs with creases that angle water down to the drain for hotel and living space environments. - **Modular Sink Designs:** Angular sink designs can be made modular, allowing for single or side-by-side units and more versatile sink access and use. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Bathroom Fixtures:** Bathroom fixture manufacturers can adopt minimalist, open-face, and modular sink designs to offer more versatile and fashion-forward products. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and spas can integrate new angular sink designs that match their interiors and provide more versatile and accessible sink use. - **Interior Design:** Minimalist, open-face, and modular sink designs can be incorporated by interior designers to provide clients with updated and trendy bathroom features. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Collaborative Seashell-Like Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spire-washbasin.md) - [Ultra-Modern Freestanding Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freestanding-sink.md) - [Textural Bathroom Sink Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/washbasin-collection.md) - [Marble Slab Washbasins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piano-washbasin.md) - [Reinventive Modern Kitchen Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-kitchen.md) - [Compact Basin Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archiplan-compact-basin-collection.md) - [Dynamic Marble Sink Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infinito.md) - [Illuminated Base Bathroom Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-albumelux.md) - [Slick Bathroom Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slick-bathroom-sink.md)
