To accomplish this, Google will introduce a new feature that hibernates apps that have not been in use, which follows up a similar feature launched for a previous version of the OS. In addition to [automatically revoking app permissions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-smartphones), the updated feature will come with a toggle setting that will prompt users to free up space being used by the app. The feature can be applied to apps that haven't been used in a month's time, and will also prevent them from sharing data or other information without the user knowing.
