The house bears a strong ressemblance to the tower to the one from the [German fairy tale](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hollywood-hills-house-1); I can just see Rapunzel letting her hair down to let her suitor come up. Andersson Wise Architects have created a contemporary masterpiece. What I particularly like about the home is the placement of the windows and the open patio area at the top. The home feels like a [contemporary take on a wood cabin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tallowwood-cabin). Andersson Wise Architects have marvelously blended various forms and concepts to come up with a perfect home both on paper and in the specific environment that it is located. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 81% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Contemporary Vertical Homes:** There is an opportunity for architects and designers to create more innovative, vertical homes with unique features. - **Fairy Tale-inspired Architecture:** There is an opportunity for architects and designers to take inspiration from fairy tales and other literary sources to create unique and imaginative buildings. - **Nature-inspired Design:** There is an opportunity for architects and designers to incorporate elements of nature into their designs for homes and buildings, creating a more organic and sustainable aesthetic. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Residential Architecture:** Residential architects can take inspiration from this Tower house to create unique and innovative homes that stand out among traditional houses. - **Design and Construction:** Design and construction companies can embrace the use of unique materials and creative design elements to create innovative and sustainable buildings. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** Tourism and hospitality companies can build unique accommodations that are inspired by literary sources such as fairy tales to provide guests with a memorable and immersive experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Compact Calming Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-sheltered-space.md) - [Compact Urban Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stealth-house.md) - [Renovated Cantilevered Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rollingwood-modern.md) - [Distinctive Airlifted Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karka-tower.md) - [Cantilevered Walkway Steel Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olson-kundig-1.md) - [Castle-Inspired Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hollywood-hills-house-1.md) - [Modern Dark Tonal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/texas-residence.md) - [Tree-Surrounding Contemporary Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/live-oak-ride-residence.md) - [Precisely Designed Toronto Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-point.md)
