The very talented artist Anchalee Saengtai has created a [life-size version](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1950s-cadillac-fleetwood) of the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime -- entirely out of [scrap automobile parts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Porsche-911-carrera)! So clearly, Saengtai is looking forward to [Transformers 3](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robosen-soundwave) this summer. In addition to this 19-foot Optimus Prime, she's also built an 8-foot tall version of the same character as well as Bumblebee. These were all created for Ripley’s Believe It or Not locations which you should absolutely check out if you're in the area. These sculptures are every fanboy's dream -- I know I'm certainly drooling over them. I pray that Saengtai does one of Decepticon's bad boy's Starscream. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Eco-friendly Art:** Opportunities to create art using recycled materials, showcasing environmental responsibility and sustainability. - **Life-size Sculptures:** Growing demand for massive, realistic sculptures that capture the attention and imagination of viewers. - **Character Replicas:** Increasing interest in life-size replicas of iconic characters from movies and pop culture. ### Where This Applies - **Art Galleries:** Opportunities for art galleries to showcase eco-friendly sculptures made from recycled materials. - **Entertainment:** Opportunities for the entertainment industry to capitalize on the demand for life-size replicas of popular characters. - **Automotive Recycling:** Potential for automotive recycling companies to supply artists with scrap automobile parts for creating sculptures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Custom-Built Sci-Fi Series Motorcycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bumblebee-bike.md) - [Transforming Robot Restaurants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transformers-the-ark.md) - [Collaborative Upcycled Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-suit-gundam-seed.md) - [Cartoon Franchise Collab Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bape-and-transformers-1.md) - [AI-Generated Motorbike Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coldstar-art.md) - [Cartoon Robot Art Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/astro-boy-figure.md) - [Auto-Transforming Toy Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grimlock.md) - [DIY Life-Size Tanks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nd-woodworking-art.md) - [Auto Cartoon Plushies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transformers-reversible-plushies.md)
