The Splash 2013 Calendar for Room 2013 is the latest example of anatomy inspired art. The photo shoot was created for Lucia Giacani's images of Room 201 for the Spanish fashion 'Splash Dubai' and features models in a sterile, hospital like environment with giant human organs. The angular, giant organs were made by 'The Makerie Studio' London, who specialize in making paper sculptures using "rare and fine papers from all around the world."

The overall effect of models eating eyeballs and sitting beside giant human heart replicas is eerie, yet captivating and charming. The popularity of human anatomy in clothing, product design and abstract art has been on the rise recently from anatomically correct muscular cycling suits to eccentric skeletal mimicking bracelets.
