He is an Italian illustrator with quite the intriguing sense of humor. His unusual drawings, which are made entirely from his penmanship, feature the [hidden anatomy within the human body](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/himalaya-pelvis-chair). Each illustration features a "headshot" of his subjects, but different parts of their faces and necks are stripped away to reveal what is hiding underneath their flesh. While it may sound gruesome, the images are actually quite comical because they infuse mainstream concepts. Titled ‘Anatomy Of,' the series gives viewers a "glance at what's in our heart, our mind, [and] our soul.” In some cases, people may have Super Mario and Luigi on their mind, have Babe Ruth chocolate bars clogging their arteries or have the chest of a bear. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Anatomy Artwork:** Creating anatomical artwork using penmanship as a medium. - **Hidden Anatomy:** Revealing the anatomy within the human body in a unique and comical way. - **Humorous Illustration:** Infusing mainstream concepts into anatomy artwork to create a comedic effect. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Illustration:** Opportunity for artists to explore unique mediums and concepts to create captivating artwork. - **Healthcare and Medicine:** Utilizing creative techniques to educate and engage people in understanding the human body. - **Entertainment and Media:** Incorporating anatomy-related concepts into mainstream media to create humorous and engaging content. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Artistic Jaw-Dropping Lessons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masters-of-anatomy.md) - [Hyper-Realistic Flesh Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/junji-ito.md) - [Human Torso-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lene-bdker.md) - [Anatomical Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/giant-skull-with-hidden-organs.md) - [Artful Anime-Blending Split Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/split-bust.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Raunchy Anime-Inspired Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manuela-soto-sosa.md)
