# Anatomical Lightboxes Chris Elsasser Designs With Heart By Cowbag | Published 2008-08-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anatomical-art-boxes-unusual-biological-light-designs References: [streetanatomy.blogspot](http://www.streetanatomy.blogspot.com) & [munstre](http://www.munstre.com/mount.shtml) Chris Elsasser says he creates “indoor anatomical art with lightboxes" using his own designs or actual x-rays. They come in mini, standard or specialty versions. It is a new type of art (if indeed it is an art form) but it matters not. They look awesome and are really unique and very different. I am not sure in what home setting they would look best, but if I was lucky enough to get one, I would most certainly move all my furniture around to make it work... if I had to. Prints, t-shirts and accessories are also available. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Anatomical Lightboxes:** An innovative art form that showcases the human anatomy using lightboxes. - **Indoor Art:** A new and unique art form that brings light to the intricate world of anatomy. - **Printed Merchandise:** The creation of printed goods from original anatomical designs. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** An innovative approach to lightboxes is bringing the human anatomy into the world of art. - **Printing and Manufacturing:** Lightboxes of the human anatomy that use original designs or x-rays, offer a unique and customizable option for small manufacturing companies. - **Interior Design:** Innovative lightboxes of the human anatomy offer a unique party piece in a residential or commercial space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Life-Like 3D Canvases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumino.md) - [Human Physio-Themed Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dif-lamp.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Health Object Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/out-of-orifice.md) - [Artistic Shadow Play Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frero-tala-asa.md) - [Quirky Trinket Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mystic-box.md) - [Shadow-Inspired Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightware-series.md) - [Intersecting Dimensional Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diorama.md) - [Wooden Light-Hearted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-sculpture.md)
