Made by online geek culture website ThinkGeek, the 'Anatomic Heart Specimen Coasters' come in packs of six, and each glass coaster is printed with a different drawing of a sliced human heart. Each coaster is also numbered, so when they're all stacked together properly they'll actually form a full heart design. When spread out for drinks, each coaster highlights a different subsection of heart that will entertain your doctor friends and any fan of the [human circulatory system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/out-of-orifice). Each coaster also has rubber feet to protect your table surfaces and is sure to be a conversation starter at your next dinner party at the very least. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Anatomic Coasters:** The trend of using anatomic design on everyday objects opens up opportunities for unique and creative products. - **Medical Mashup:** The trend of combining medicine and design creates new business opportunities in both industries. - **Organ-inspired Decor:** The trend towards organ-inspired decor creates opportunities for a range of decor products that have unique aesthetics and are conversation starters. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can explore the trend of organ-inspired decor to create products with quirky designs that appeal to unique tastes. - **Medical Devices:** The medical device industry can explore the trend of combining medicine and design to create products that are functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. - **Geek Culture:** Geek culture companies can capitalize on the trend of using anatomic design on everyday objects to create products that appeal to niche audiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anatomy-Inspired Glassware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/body-glasses.md) - [Aquatic Beverage Coasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crab-inspired-coasters.md) - [Turntable-Inspired Coaster Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/needledrop-coaster-set.md) - [Barbie-Inspired Coaster Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbieinspired-coaster-set.md) - [Warm-Toned Marble Coasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lusine-coasters.md) - [Astrological Drinkware Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zodiac-constellation-coasters.md) - [Educational Anatomy Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/giant-heart-with-hidden-cells.md) - [Smart Tabletop Coasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-tabletop-coaster.md) - [Anatomical Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/giant-skull-with-hidden-organs.md)
