Step a little closer and squint at one of Anatol Knotek's text portraits and you'll read into its message.
Young Austrian artist and word wizard Anatol Knotek creates text portraits that allow him to fuse his love for art and poetry. From a distance, his black-and-white portraits appear to be composed of abstract scribbled and crosshatched lines. However, the lines Knotek uses are much more intentionally chosen. Anatol Knotek's text portraits are carefully composed entirely of written words; he essentially lets his poetry paint the picture. I think this makes his portraits even more profound and powerful; he's giving his piece a voice and a face, allowing it to communicate both visually and verbally.
These talkative text portraits are extremely expressive and are guaranteed to speak to you.
