Gallerist Amélie du Chalard shows off a look at [her house in Paris](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hauvette-madani), which is packed with art and design cues. Many of these elements are from Fritz Hansen, with a collection that turns a home into a gallery as well. The space was previously a [private library](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-objects-we-live-by) before it became her studio, and then into her home.

Du Chalard speaks about her home -- she states, “My home is a reflection of myself and the way I want to live, so it is filled with [art and furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-curators-apartment) that are meaningful to me. Since I was 15, the only gifts I’ve received for my birthday have been artworks. Paintings, sculpture, photographs, textile; I connect with many mediums. I feel similarly about furniture. All the furniture I have tells a story, and I am very focused on a diverse array of textures, from wood to cotton to wool to metal.”
