A fusion of patriotism and fashion can be a beautiful combination, as demonstrated by the 'America the Beautiful' Vogue US shoot. This June 2011 editorial features models posed in city-specific couture outfits.
Each of the photos beautifully encapsulates the five destinations selected for the shoot. Although the spread did not include actual on-scene photos of each of the destinations, it still comes across as authentic. Photographer Craig McDean artistically evokes different looks in each of the images, which feature big-name models such as Arizona Muse, Karen Elson and Karlie Kloss.
These patriotic looks were styled by Tonne Goodman, who elegantly paired together pieces from high-end designers like Balenciaga and Prada. The 'America the Beautiful' Vogue US shoot certainly lives up to its beauty-filled name.
