# Alphabetical Home Furnishings Designer Claudio Scotto is Behind These Alphabet Shaped Furnishings By Lacey-Jane Walsh | Published 2013-11-28 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alphabet-shaped References: [dornob](http://dornob.com/about-face-favorite-fonts-turned-into-modern-furniture/) & [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/claudioscotto) Clever designer Claudio Scotto is behind this incredible series of [alphabet shaped furnishings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aedo-collection). These letter shaped items include couches, bookshelves, stools, cabinets, chairs and more. These pieces are [modern, imaginative and extremely impressive](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palla). Some of these pieces are more subtly shaped like letters than others, but most of these alphabetic furnishings stand out. The M shaped couches look sleek and inviting, and the I shaped kitchen stools come equipped with back supports (because you can't have a lower case I without a serif). Scotto finds a way to effectively transform the letters of the alphabet into functional furniture pieces. This stunning [alphabet themed furniture set](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palma-collection) is unlike any other. The only possible downside to owning these pieces would be having the alphabet song stuck in your head on a permanent basis. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Alphabet-shaped Furnishings:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create unique and customizable furniture pieces that are shaped like alphabets to add a playful and creative touch to interior design. - **Functional Alphabet Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design furniture pieces that effectively transform the letters of the alphabet into functional and stylish items for homes and offices. - **Imaginative Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a range of imaginative and modern home decor items inspired by creative concepts, such as alphabet-themed furnishings. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Invent new and innovative furniture designs that cater to unique and niche preferences, such as alphabet-shaped furnishings. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create customized interior design solutions that incorporate alphabet-themed furniture pieces to create a visually appealing and personalized space. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce a range of imaginative and creative home decor products that allow consumers to express their individuality, such as functional alphabet furniture. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multifunctional Modern Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dsegno.md) - [Knotted Wooden Furniture Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paco-y-paco.md) - [Artful Wooden Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knowledge-of-all-dark-things.md) - [Reimagined Monolithic Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fossil-furniture.md) - [Oblong Color-Blocked Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meritalia-morphologica-collection.md) - [Domestic Artful Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpted-series.md) - [Playful Toy-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frunchroom-furniture-collection.md) - [Wilderness-Inspired Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/habitat-collection.md) - [Toy Block-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloc-collection.md)
