The Aloe collection includes three designs - the *Bud*, which represents the birth of the plant, *Blossom* which is the mid-life and the full beauty of the flower and the *Shoot* which is the withering death. According to [cole](http://www.jeremycole.net), "Aloe is made from individually handmade porcelain leaves that are geometrically arranged around the light source to act as a diffuser, producing a calming, glowing light." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Agave-inspired Lamps:** The use of agave-inspired designs in lamps creates a unique and visually appealing lighting option for consumers. - **Handmade Porcelain:** The use of handmade porcelain in lamp designs adds a touch of craftsmanship and elegance. - **Geometric Arrangements:** Geometrically arranging the porcelain leaves around the light source creates a diffusing effect, resulting in a calming and glowing light. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can incorporate agave-inspired lamps to add a natural and artistic element to their projects. - **Home Decor:** Home decor retailers can offer handmade porcelain lamps as a sophisticated and unique lighting option for customers. - **Art and Craft:** The art and craft industry can explore the use of geometric arrangements in lamp designs to create visually stunning and functional light fixtures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Plant-Based Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantbased-lamp.md) - [Blooming Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloome.md) - [Cosmic-Inspired Lamp Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aureole.md) - [Plant-Inspired Dynamic Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossom-chandelier.md) - [Coral-Form Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alherd.md) - [Money Plant-Inspired Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pilea-lamp.md) - [Naturalistic Biophilic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bioo-lamp.md) - [Interactive Blooming Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloomlight-s-lamp.md) - [Posh Plant-Supporting Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ample-plant-light-n1.md)
