With a simple but splendid design, this [table/lamp hybrid](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumera) is a dual-nature object, just as the mythological Alux character was two-faced. Luckily the double function of the Almerich 'Alux' light provides its user with two useful purposes: to light and to bear. This clever fixture can be [mounted on a wall](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luno-lamp) next to a bed, a sofa or along a corridor, prepared for whatever you require of it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Life](https://www.trendhunter.com/life) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Dual-purpose Furniture:** Opportunity for furniture brands to create innovative products that serve multiple functions, saving space and adding convenience. - **Integration of Lighting:** Opportunity for lighting companies to create designs that seamlessly incorporate into furniture, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics. - **Multi-functional Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor brands to develop versatile products that serve multiple purposes, catering to the needs of contemporary consumers. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity for furniture manufacturers to produce hybrid furniture pieces that combine functionality and style. - **Lighting Design:** Opportunity for lighting designers to collaborate with furniture manufacturers in creating products that integrate lighting elements. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor companies to expand their product range and offer multi-functional items that fulfill various needs in a home. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artistic Tech-Charging Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/combi-table-lamp.md) - [Ultra-Flexible Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anywhereuse-lamp.md) - [Planetary Dual-Illumination Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbis-lamp.md) - [Reversible Glass Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jal.md) - [Minimalist Tech Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20.md) - [Simplistic Angular Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-table-lamp.md) - [Elegant Compact Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light.md) - [Hanging Lantern-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodo-table-lamp.md) - [Quirky Common Item Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-lamp-lighter.md)
