Julia Frauche stars in the 'High and Dry' editorial for Allure Magazine's November 2014 issue.

From coloring to styling, our hair takes a beating that leaves it thirsting for moisture. But what's a girl to do when we're meant to be a straight-haired blonde but were born a curly haired brunette? There is no other option than to start a war with our tresses; one that might leave them a little "high and dry."

A hair stylist who goes by the single name Garren worked with Frauche's [blonde tresses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/give-gloss-campaign) to create three looks: a dramatic, voluminous 'do, [a wispy, delicate ponytail](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nexxus-styling-collection) and a super-teased retro style. The [hair looks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/all-around-styling-set) were complemented with makeup by Maid Laceppe and styling by fashion editor Jarrod Lacks. Photographer Regan Cameron lensed the editorial for Allure Magazine's November 2014.
