Giving heed to rumors that were already circulating about the iPhone, Apple published a patent yesterday that may confirm an all-screen interface version of the smartphone. The patent describes the concept as "Man-machine interface for controlling access to electronic devices". The all-screen device would essentially render the bezel -- the ring surrounding the device that holds everything together -- as completely unnecessary. As people eagerly await what new designs Apple comes out with next, most [iPhones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-ipro) have remained relatively similar in terms of their aesthetics.
