The finely crafted device dock is actually a simple block of black walnut that utilizes the charging cable that comes with your iPhone 5 by clipping it securely into place for charging and syncing. The Allied Maker device dock requires quick installation onto a wall via two small screws and features a nifty swinging door for easily clipping in or taking out your charging cable. This makes it essential for individuals who are constantly on-the-go and don't want to fumble for their cord before heading out the door. The eclectic woodcrafting brand also crafts a number of other products that are both rich in materials as well as expertly designed. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Wooden Device Docks:** Opportunities for manufacturers to design more affordable, sustainable, and customizable wooden device docks for personal and commercial use. - **Wall-mounted Charging Stations:** Emerging trend for wall-mounted charging stations to save space, eliminate clutter, and enhance the aesthetics of modern homes and offices. - **Eco-friendly Gadget Accessories:** Growing demand for eco-friendly gadget accessories, such as wooden device docks, as a response to the call for more sustainable and biodegradable products in the market. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Furnishings:** Manufacturers of home furnishings can expand their product lines to include more sustainable and aesthetically appealing charging stations. - **Mobile Accessories:** Opportunities for mobile accessories companies to innovate and create more diverse, stylish, and eco-friendly device docks and charging stations. - **Interior Design:** Interior design companies can utilize wall-mounted charging stations as a way to enhance the look and feel of modern spaces while providing functional solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Timber Clamp-Equipped Smartphone Mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-desk-shelf-mount.md) - [Timber Technology Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-charging-station.md) - [Timber Smartwatch Charging Mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charging-apple-watch-stand.md) - [Outlet-Mounted Device Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tech-charger-dock.md) - [Floating Monitor-Mounted Tech Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/line-linestand.md) - [Contemporary Magnetic Device Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magsafe-charger-stand.md) - [Luxe Triple-Device Charging Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twelve-south-hirise-3-deluxe.md) - [Anti-Distraction Smartphone Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-charging-dock-concept.md) - [Timeless Japandi-Themed Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magsafe-collection.md)
