These casinos have been abandoned for years, left to decay and rot after greedily taking people's money left, right and center. Curated by WebUrbanist, the article reads, "[...] the high rollers are laying low, the [cards are all jokers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artiste-series), the wheel’s stopped spinning and the [dice have all thrown snake eyes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hot-wing-roo-lette)." Featuring such establishments as the Penthouse Adriatic Club Casino in Croatia, The Overlook Hotel’s Casino and The Big Easy Casino Boat, a New Orleans-themed gambling vessel, the All Bets Are Off photo series showcases 10 in all. It is disturbing to see once crowd-filled rooms empty. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Abandoned Casinos:** Opportunity for urban exploration tourism and repurposing these spaces for unique experiences. - **Decaying Establishments:** Potential for architectural restoration and adaptive reuse projects. - **Photography Series:** Growing demand for creative and alternative photography subjects for exhibitions and art collections. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Tourism:** Urban exploration tourism can capture the interest of adventurous travelers seeking unique experiences. - **Architecture:** Opportunity for architectural firms to restore and repurpose abandoned casinos into vibrant new spaces. - **Art:** Photography exhibits and art collectors can showcase and sell prints from the All Bets Are Off photo series. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dramatic Doomsday Bunker Images](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alastair-philip-wiper.md) - [AI Post-Apocalyptic Cities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-universe.md) - [Game-Inspired Hotel Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vacation-roulette.md) - [Card Game-Themed Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uno-social-club.md) - [Efficient Reliable Casino Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/m-resort-spa-casino.md) - [Casino-Inspired Tequila Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highend-tequila.md) - [Limited Ceramic Poker Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wpt-arsham-poker-set.md) - [Dilapidated Mansion-Themed Restaurants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/le-courage.md) - [Forgotten Theme-Park Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forgotten-fantasy.md)
