Although the Aline Weber Numero photo spread conforms to a religious theme like many other editorials of late, it happens to do so in a much more subtle and biblical manner. Instead of focusing on holy people such as nuns and holy sites such as cathedrals, this magazine shoot centers on a particular story within the bible.
Shot by fashion photographer Camilla Akrans, the Aline Weber Numero photo spread interestingly avoids the whole nudity cliche that has been prevalent in the fashion industry recently. With the Eden theme, it would have been natural to have 'Eve' artfully posing nude. Instead, Weber is elegantly albeit provocatively clad. Akrans uses leaves and fruit to allude to the story of Adam and Eve.
Part of the magazine's November 2011 issue, the Aline Weber Numero editorial shows that overdone concepts can still be reworked into fresh ones.
