Both models can be configured with 4K displays, but the new 480Hz offering is designed to provide smoother gaming visuals with no tearing and stuttering. Consumers can choose the new high refresh rate option over the base 165Hz for an additional $300 USD and have the opportunity to configure it with AMD’s [Ryzen 7](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trimax-pro) and 9 processors in addition to the [Radeon](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amd-fluid-motion-frames) RX 6-Series. High refresh rate monitors offer substantial benefits when it comes to first-person shooter gaming, as these games often require more frames and faster reaction time. Competitive gamers experience the most benefits from these displays, but it is essential to consider how powerful your GPU is to achieve high frames.
