Creative artist Joey Spiotto designed a playful [picture book](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chuck-e-cheese-and-genius-cat-books) titled 'Alien Next Door,' which is made to mimic a martian from the iconic horror film 'Alien.' However, the quirky book depicts the black alien as a cute neighbourhood-friendly citizen.

The book features the creature rescuing a child's doll from a flooded basement, roasting hot dogs over a campfire and even giving a young boy a fresh haircut. The alien is nothing like the movie version, which makes the book very appropriate for children.

Alien Next Door was created by Joey Spiotto and published by [Titan Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcticstore-horizon). It is currently available online through [Amazon](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/readyland). Additionally, the author will be promoting the whimsical storybook during a book signing in Los Angeles at 'Gallery1988' on November 7th 2015.
