# Intricately Ornate Wall Decor Alice Wallpaper by Marcel Wanders By Sandra Winn | Published 2008-08-22 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alice-wallpaper References: [designpublic](http://www.designpublic.com/shop/graham-and-brown/11595) When feasting your eyes on the [Alice Wallpaper](http://www.designpublic.com/shop/graham-and-brown/11595) line, you cannot help but wonder if its designer, Marcel Wanders, was divinely inspired. Using the classic concept of [flowers with modern techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloom-wall-light), he has created wallpaper so vivid, so exquisite, and so detailed, that it can make you truly feel as if you are in a world of your own. Within each flower lies a maze of elaborate and intricate art. Basking in an elegant room of deep, rich, smooth and decadent chocolate without gaining an ounce would be heavenly. The white and gold wallpaper, in my mind at least, provoked thoughts of Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome (Toga party anyone?); whereas the red brought up images of fire and heart-felt passion. Wanders’ purple wallpaper is warm and inviting, the perfect color choice to come home to after a long, hard day of work. Alice Wallpaper is the perfect solution to [liven up any room](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/el-muro) in your home. The only problem is choosing which one. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 24% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Intricate Wallpaper Designs:** Opportunity for wallpaper designers to explore intricate and detailed patterns that create a unique and immersive experience for consumers. - **Revival of Ornate Decor:** Opportunity for interior designers and home decor companies to incorporate ornate and elaborate designs into their products to evoke a sense of luxury and elegance. - **Modern Fusion of Classic Concepts:** Opportunity for designers to blend traditional concepts with modern techniques to create innovative and visually stunning products like the Alice Wallpaper line. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor companies to offer customers a wide range of intricate wallpaper options to enhance the visual appeal of their living spaces. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to integrate intricately ornate wallpapers into their design projects, adding a touch of sophistication and luxury to the spaces. - **Wallpaper Manufacturing:** Opportunity for wallpaper manufacturers to invest in advanced printing techniques and materials to produce high-quality, intricate wallpapers that cater to the growing demand for unique and visually stunning wall decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Whimsically Designed Hotel Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cowley-manor-experimental.md) - [Folk Art-Inspired Wallpapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backdrop.md) - [Painting-Inspired Wallpaper Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portals-collection.md) - [Artist-Designed Wallpaper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallpaper-collection1.md) - [Eclectic Contemporary Home Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/secret-garden2.md) - [Renter-Friendly Wallpaper Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/renter-friendly-wallpaper.md) - [Fashionable Wall Coverings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fashionable-wall-coverings.md) - [Whimsical Harlequin-Patterned Décor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alices-adventures-collection.md) - [Enchanting Folklore-Inspired Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kimpton-bem.md)
