Instead of falling down the rabbit hole, you can tumble into a [paper-constructed burrow](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-papirkunst). This amazing land, designed by Romain Lenancker, is entirely comprised of paper. The series was photographed by Jean-Paul Lefret, with photo retouching by Fabien Barrau and Cristian Girotto. The photo collection shows the [sweet-faced toddlers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storyland-illustrated-personalized-ebook) exploring their papered surroundings. The pictures from ‘Alice in Paperland’ are so captivating and endearing; I wish this could be transformed into a movie. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Paper Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop new techniques and technologies for intricate and durable paper constructions. - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore advanced photo editing and retouching techniques to enhance visual storytelling. - **Children's Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create immersive experiences where children can physically interact with fictional worlds. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art & Craft Supplies:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop new eco-friendly materials that are lightweight, flexible, and sustainable for paper-based art and craft. - **Digital Imaging and Editing Software:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Drive advancements in AI-powered image editing tools that can seamlessly blend real and fictional elements. - **Theme Parks and Entertainment Centers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate paper-based attractions and interactive components into existing playgrounds and amusement parks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Paper Curvature Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-curves.md) - [Whimsical Harlequin-Patterned Décor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alices-adventures-collection.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Buildable Paper Playsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/castle-playset.md) - [Paper-Formed Premium Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pastille.md) - [Doll-Inspired Modern Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavilions-of-wonder.md) - [Paper-Inspired Artful Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-papirkunst.md) - [Whimsical Childlike Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-eternal-child.md)
