Until I stumbled upon the Ali de Marketa photo series, I never thought that [dominatrix-type females](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/songs-of-siren) could look so eccentric or playful. I guess that's the charm behind this [edgy, futuristic photo shoot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/betterstudio).

Photographed by Maya Nightingale, the Ali de Marketa photo series focuses entirely on the model. Although it is an otherwise [minimalist shoot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-femininity), the model takes on her character seamlessly. It certainly helps that Nightingale had makeup artist Thea Adora Bauer and hair stylist Matej Komar on her team.
