# Floral Bus Shelter Photography These Images by Alexandra Soldatova Feature Hand-Painted Bus Stops By Ady Floyd | Published 2015-09-03 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alexandra-soldatova References: [fubiz.net](http://www.fubiz.net/en/2015/09/01/colorful-bus-stops-in-belarus/) & [alexandrasoldatova](http://alexandrasoldatova.com/portfolio/) Photographer Alexandra Soldatova created a series of photographs that feature hand-painted bus shelters in Belarus. Each of the images ensures that the focal point is the bus shelter itself. The shelters were hand-painted by an unknown artist in the 1980s but this photography series re-introduces them to a new generation while showcasing Alexandra Soldatova's immense talent. The way each shelter is photographed allows the viewer to see the beauty of its mural art as well as its remote location. While traditional bus stops are located in busy cities with modern adverts, these images showcase the unique preservation of hand-painted art in rural areas. In addition, this series celebrates the vast and empty landscape of Belarus and appears both visually striking and eerie. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Hand-painted Bus Shelters:** Opportunity for artists and photographers to collaborate in preserving and showcasing unique hand-painted bus shelters in rural areas. - **Preservation of Rural Art:** Opportunity to promote and protect the artistry and cultural significance of hand-painted bus shelters in remote locations. - **Photography Series Revival:** Opportunity to revive and reintroduce forgotten or obscure photography series that capture the beauty and history of unique landmarks such as hand-painted bus shelters. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art:** Opportunity for artists to create and sell hand-painted murals for bus shelters in rural areas. - **Photography:** Opportunity for photographers to capture and showcase the unique beauty and cultural significance of hand-painted bus shelters. - **Tourism:** Opportunity for tourism agencies and travel operators to promote rural areas with hand-painted bus shelters as unique and culturally rich destinations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Large-Scale Floral Mosaics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floral-mosaics.md) - [Recycled-Steel Bus Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazon-bus-station.md) - [Distorted Furniture Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light.md) - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Artist-Designed Umbrella Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shed-rain-artist-series.md) - [Inflated Vibrant Futuristic Buses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mutated-school-bus.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Cooling Bus Shelter Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cooling-bus-shelter.md)
