# Trippy Illuminated Heads Alexander Lervik Creates a Cubic Acid-Trip Installation By Matt Ho | Published 2011-02-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alexander-lervik References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/weblog/cat/8/view/13182/alexander-lervik-light-bar-at-stockholm-furniture-fair-2011.html) & [stockholmfurniturefair.se](http://www.stockholmfurniturefair.se/en/visitor-info/news/unique-light-installation-in-the-light-bar-at-stockholm-furniture-fair) Viewing Alexander Lervik's [light bar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/awt-bar) is so psychedelically awesome that you wouldn't need drugs for a hallucinatory effect. The installation is composed of LED illuminated mannequin heads arranged into a large cube. If that's not trippy enough, the colors also constantly change. The installation is reminiscent of the first Tron movie with a 2001 Space Odyssey vibe that's more than enough for an acid-tripping individual to handle. Alexander Lervik debuted his installation at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2011. The heads are a representation of the employees of the clients for whom he build the piece.
