The base has a stainless steel food bowl that can be covered with a howling dog-handled lid. When the lid is in place, the Alessi Lula dog bowl looks more like a [modern sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hut-side-table) than a feeding station. It is just the type of modern, iconic design you'd expect from the world-famous Italian brand, Alessi and designer Miriam Mirri. **Implications** - If you're the type of person that has spent an inordinate amount of money assembling a good kitchen, why mess it up with plain and generic plastic bowls? These Alessli Lula dog bowls class up any modern kitchen (and even an older one). The durable thermoplastic resin and removable bowl were made in 18/10 stainless steel -- in the words of the youth today -- swag. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modern Pet Accessories:** The Alessi Lula dog bowl design showcases the trend of modernizing pet feeding accessories with unique and stylish designs. - **Iconic Designer Collaborations:** The collaboration between Alessi and designer Miriam Mirri exemplifies the trend of partnering with renowned designers to create innovative and visually appealing products for the pet industry. - **Functional Art Pieces:** The Alessi Lula dog bowl blurs the line between function and art, representing the trend of incorporating artistic elements into everyday products and transforming them into conversation-starting pieces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Pet Product Design:** The Alessi Lula dog bowl highlights the potential for disruptive innovation in the pet product design industry by combining artistic aesthetics with practical functionality. - **Kitchenware and Homeware:** The unique design of the Alessi Lula dog bowl opens up opportunities for disruptive innovation in the kitchenware industry by introducing stylish and distinctive pet feeding accessories for modern homes. - **Luxury Consumer Goods:** The Alessi Lula dog bowl taps into the luxury consumer goods market by offering a high-end and visually appealing pet feeding solution, pointing to disruptive innovation possibilities in this industry segment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Dog Bowl Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-dog-bowl.md) - [Mix-and-Match Dog Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woof-dog-bowl.md) - [Contemporary Heightened Pet Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/como.md) - [Artisanal Dog Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artisanal-dog-bowls.md) - [Designer Pet Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smallserve.md) - [Anthropomorphized Pet Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-bowl-table.md) - [Multifunctional Dog Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-bowls.md) - [Edible Dog Food Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juliane-fink.md) - [Intelligent Maze-Style Dog Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hank-pet-bowl.md)
