In an effort to reduce the number of vehicular collisions caused by tiredness, Impecca is introducing the Alert Band at [CES](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/senmenti-0-electric-motorcycle) 2015. The wearable technology consists of a [headband designed to detect fatigue](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muse-s-athena) in drivers and acts as a early warning system to save lives.

The Bluetooth device monitors brainwaves and sends notifications in real-time to a mobile device. Accurate 90% of the time, the Alert Band tells drivers they are going to fall asleep 3 to 5 minutes before they actually do. Whether you are a truck driver, have a [sleep disorder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-pajama-top) or are taking a long road-trip, this device could significantly reduce the likelihood you have an accident.

Impecca will be displaying the device at CES booth #30932 from January 6th to 9th.
