Even though the 'Not Your Father's Root Beer' boasts a number of old-fashioned elements, this alcoholic root beer product has been reinvented for the modern age.

The product takes inspiration from the launch of an American-style root beer beverage produced by [Small Town Brewery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kimchi-pouches) in the United States, but it is being launched in the UK through a partnership with brewer Charles Wells. The alcoholic root beer is made using an old brewing technique that involves the use of [natural botanicals and spices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fentimans-botanically-brewed) like sarsaparilla, Madagascar vanilla, oak, wintergreen, liquorice, honey, citrus and mint.

Not Your Father's Root Beer is a product that provides the perfect combination of nostalgia, botanical ingredients and [hard soda](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/owls-brew-spiked-pop), all of which are especially popular in the beverage industry.
