Graphic design artist Lisa Guhl from Berlin, Germany created this [alcohol awareness advertisement](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gordons-mix-it-up) with [drunken Barbies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/autistic-barbie) as the stars. The dolls sit and look passed out in front of a whole shelf of bottles with speech bubbles like "Come on Barbie, let's go party!"

In bold font the words "We are not living in a Barbie world" send a fierce message, especially to children, that contrasts the wild representation of drugs and alcohol in the media. From music videos to television, children are constantly bombarded with the glam and popularity of party life and this alcohol awareness ad aims to shoot those messages down and share a harsh reality.

At first glance, the ad seems pretty funny with Barbie's makeup dripping down her face and her [skimpy prom dress](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/azazie-4) all in shambles. As you scroll through the images you will see a more real and scary message being conveyed. It is certainly a bold and creative way of illustrating a very common issue.
