Unless you require a strong and direct source of illumination with which to carefully accomplish very detailed tasks, this sort of light fixture can bring a great deal to a space. Dix Heures Dix manufactures this [standing light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-solvinden-floor-lamp) for Arro Studio. The contemporary piece comprises a [tripod stand](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp) with a funnel-shaped nest that's cradled within the trio of upwards-extending branches. The hexagonal cone contains the LEDs that give off the primary beams, casting rays up to the ceiling while the majority are caught by the [reflective steel dishes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foreshadow-table-lamp). The black PMMA body of the Albedo Floor Lamp angles the light out and downwards, creating a diffuse glow to brighten an entire room. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Reflective Lighting:** There is an opportunity for manufacturers to create lamps that utilize reflective surfaces to disperse light throughout a room, creating a comfortable atmosphere. - **Contemporary Standing Lamps:** There is an opportunity for designers to create unique contemporary standing lamps to bring a distinct aesthetic to living spaces. - **Diffuse Lighting:** There is an opportunity for manufacturers to create lamps that angle light out and downwards for a non-direct source of illumination that brightens an entire room. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can utilize reflective lighting to create a comfortable atmosphere in living spaces. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** Lighting manufacturing companies can create contemporary standing lamps that utilize new materials, shapes, and reflective surfaces to appeal to consumers. - **Home Furnishings:** Furnishing companies can create diffuse lighting options that offer non-direct sources of illumination for entire living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Living Space Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonlight-floor-lamp.md) - [Suspended Halo Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamplox-minimalist-floor-lamp.md) - [Daylight-Mimicking Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brighter-floor-lamp.md) - [Tubular Totem-Like Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-light-totem-i.md) - [Recycled Leather Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corium-standing-floor-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Connected Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-led-floor-lamp.md) - [Cutesy Coiled Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-helix-lamp.md) - [Archival Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1953-floor-lamp.md) - [Geometric Industrial Desktop Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-lamp.md)
