With the [palette of a setting sun](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iris-collection), it is hard not to appreciate the hues of each [garden pot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planter-300) and light fixture. Not to mention that people, especially women, still have a thing for ombre designs. Great for indoor use as well, the Alba Collection was designed by Massimiliano Adami for Serralunga. Made out of linear low-density polyethylene that boasts a smooth finish achieved by rotational moulding, each design is finished by hand. This is apparent in the borders, which are organic and rough. The Alba Collection brings a touch of both color and craftsmanship to the living space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Gradient Planters:** The popularity of ombre designs presents opportunities for products that incorporate gradient colors. - **Handcrafted Outdoor Decor:** With consumers showing interest in high-quality craftsmanship, outdoor decor products that incorporate hand-finishing hold potential for disrupting the industry. - **Polyethylene Furniture:** Linear low-density polyethylene provides a durable and versatile material for furniture-making that can be expanded to new product categories for disruptive innovation. ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor Living:** The Alba Collection by Massimiliano Adami shows potential for disrupting the outdoor living industry through incorporating striking and durable designs. - **Home Decor:** Gradient planters and handcrafted outdoor decor have the potential to disrupt the home decor industry and attract consumers looking for unique and high-quality products. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Using linear low-density polyethylene in furniture-making provides a material that is durable, versatile, and eco-friendly, leading to potential for disruptive innovation in the furniture industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Staggered Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/staggered-planters.md) - [Vibrant Modern Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-grande-muraglia-outdoor.md) - [Natural Material Gardening Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-collection.md) - [Spring-Ready Vibrant Homeware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowerpot-range.md) - [Geometrical Head-Shaped Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vondom-adan-collection.md) - [Bold Hand-Crafted Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handcrafted-planters.md) - [Durable Designer Furniture Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gandiablasco-mass-collection.md) - [Ultra-Modern Outdoor Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-furniture-collections.md) - [Vibrantly Designed Modern Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cimento.md)
