Ak47 Design has developed a creative collection of [firewood holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fireplace-designs) that meet the demand for high style. Simplicity and function are at the forefront and a few units even perform double duty as a [book shelf](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelf-life), seating or as a plant stand. The goal of the Ak47 designers was, “to develop designs that shun the obvious, venturing into questions that are still unexplored. The aim is to qualify simple objects; to enhance them and characterise them with the quest for a particular process, the innovative use of materials, the care for details.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Stylish Firewood Storage:** Opportunities for designing unique and visually appealing firewood holders that also serve multiple functionalities. - **Multi-functional Furniture:** Creating furniture pieces that provide more than one function,e.g book shelf and seating, to optimize space and enhance utility. - **Innovative Use of Materials:** Exploring the use of unconventional materials in designs, as seen in Ak47's creative collection. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The furniture industry can capitalize on creating firewood holders that combine style and function. - **Home Decor:** Incorporating creative firewood holders in home decor can add aesthetic value and serve as a conversation piece. - **Interior Design:** Innovative firewood holders can be a unique design element that enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of a space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Stylish Fireplace Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fireplace-accessories.md) - [Stainless Steel Modular Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-stainlesssteel.md) - [Cooking-Friendly Outdoor Fireplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/regg-surprise.md) - [Book-Storing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookgroove-bookrack.md) - [Foldable Fire Pit Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firebase.md) - [Forest-Inspired Wooden Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hayashi-cabinet.md) - [Ultra-Chic Minimalist Seating Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-seating-design.md) - [Single-Piece Wooden Magazine Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skola.md) - [Portable Fire Pit Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-pit-stand.md)
