This little beast actually detonates, spraying the surrounding area with over 200 plastic 6 mm pellets (it is unlikely that these pellets will cause much, if any, bodily harm). While a device used in the tactical game of airsoft, these impact grenades can certainly be used in other environments. This particularly grenade is not timed but will detonate upon contact with a hard surface. The grenades contain hundreds of pellets that can also be swapped for [smoke or tear gas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/butane-torch). These resuable gadgets have been designed to take a beating and can be refilled with ammunition of your choice. These Tornado Crash Impact Grenades are generally recommended for usage during the sport of airsoft only (but feel free to get creative). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Life](https://www.trendhunter.com/life) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Detonating Toys:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop safer and more realistic detonating toys for recreational use. - **Impact Grenades:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create impact grenades with customizable functionalities for various industries beyond airsoft. - **Reusable Gadgets:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design durable and refillable gadgets for different applications, expanding their usability and reducing waste. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Recreational Toys:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce a new line of recreational toys that incorporate safe detonation technology for experiential play. - **Law Enforcement and Defense:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop impact grenades with non-lethal functionalities for law enforcement and defense applications. - **Outdoor Sports and Paintball:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Adapt impact grenades with different ammunition choices for enhanced gameplay and tactical experiences in outdoor sports and paintball. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Adult-Targeted Foam Disc Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disc-blaster.md) - [Mischievous Scent Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scent-blaster.md) - [Compact Gel Capsule Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-pro-gelfire-legion-blaster.md) - [Flatulence-Firing Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buttheads-fart-launcher-3000.md) - [Gel-Equipped Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-gelfire-mythic.md) - [Creator-Backed Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mrbeast.md) - [Grenade-Inspired Table Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lepe-1839.md) - [Offbeat Bath Bombs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/da-bomb-extreme.md) - [4-in-1 Gel Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unlocx-gel-blaster.md)
