The AirSketcher Robotic Fan is a [house fan](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-cooling) designed to be controlled from the comfort of the couch. The fan has a special camera built into it to detect the symbols on either side of the paddle.

The "X" sends a signal to the fan to turn itself off, whereas the "O" tells the fan to stay on target. The design is simple and smart, although it does seem a little cumbersome to have to hold a paddle up every time you want to direct the fan your way. You can check out the featured video here to see the fan in action.

[Remoteless appliances and electronic gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-fan-heater) *seem* to be the next big thing in tech. I wouldn't be surprised to see a fan released sometime in the near future that imitates the design of the AirSketcher Robotic Fan.
