The hanging light starts off with a ring integrated with LEDs to provide crisp, vibrant illumination while the upper section is paired with a [bubble-like form](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-glow-light). This iridescent bubble-like accent will catch the light and bounce the rays accordingly to give it a soapy appearance. The conceptual 'Air-Shape' lamp maintains a whimsical design that could also function as a [wall lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloom-wall-light) to have it appear as though it has been positioned with care. The rainbow appearance created by the light conveys a dreamlike aesthetic to figuratively and literally brighten up a living space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 7.0/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Bubble-shaped Illuminators:** Opportunity for disrupting manufacture and retail of unconventional home lighting and decor - **Whimsical Home Lighting:** Opportunity for innovative home decor designs that bring a dreamlike aesthetic and brighten up living spaces - **Functional Bubbles:** Opportunity for creating more adaptative uses of bubble-inspired aesthetics, potentially for wider applications in the design industry ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Opportunity to innovate in unconventional lighting designs to create highly individualized, playful spaces - **Retail:** Opportunity to market and enhance customer experience for unique home decor products that reflect lively design trends - **Design:** Opportunity to expand the scope of applications of bubble-inspired features and technology beyond the home decor industry ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bubble-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubbles-lighting-design.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Whimsical Glass Bubbled Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peeka.md) - [Chic Saucer-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-in-tight-light-fixture.md) - [Air Balloon-Inspired Lamp Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-balloon-lamp.md) - [Inflatable Mood Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-lamp.md) - [Hat-Like Fabric Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-lamp.md) - [Malleable Connected Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pofu-lamp.md) - [Delicate Illusory Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aria-light.md)
