The international airport in the Thai capital city of Bangkok has long been a major air traffic hub in Asia, and now travelers going through the airport will be able to revel in an [indoor forest](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazon-rainforest-pavilion) located in the a new airport terminal building at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

The Suvarnabhumi International Passenger Terminal II was designed by Duangrit Bunnag Architect Limited, and features a wooded facade complete with a complex pyramidal design scheme. Inside, there's a massive tropical forest that is set to be topped off with a waterfall.

Airport travel is often chaotic and stressful, but this lush new airport terminal building aims to offer a bit of reprieve to weary travelers and give them a space to get away from the hustle and bustle of airport gates and duty-free shopping centers, making this a great example of innovative architecture being used to improve the travel experience.
