This unique design offers power at every seat and features units that can be customized to include three, four or five seats. Perfect for malls and airports, this [connected seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adp-bench) concept is even accented with convenient drink holders and features upholstery that is graphically bold and easy to clean. Each of Arconas' Place Power Stations is accented with charging symbols making them accessible and easy for travelers to find when in search for a power source. Unlike traditional standing desks and poles that double as a [charging station](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hexagon-310), this connected airport seating combines comfort with convenience and makes long waits more bearable while traveling. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Connected Seating:** The trend of incorporating charging docks into public seating offers convenience and comfort in various industries. - **Customized Units:** The trend of customizable seating units allows for flexibility in meeting different seating needs in public spaces. - **Graphically Bold Upholstery:** The trend of using vibrant and visually appealing upholstery enhances the aesthetics of public seating areas. ### Who This Affects Most - **Transportation:** The transportation industry can implement connected seating in airports, train stations, and bus terminals to enhance the passenger experience. - **Retail:** Malls and shopping centers can adopt connected seating with charging docks to provide convenience for shoppers. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can incorporate connected seating in lobbies, lounges, and waiting areas to offer guests a comfortable and convenient experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Furniture-Embedded Discreet Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/discreet-charging-station.md) - [Urban Solar Charging Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perovia.md) - [Airport Lounge Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-islands.md) - [High-Performance Travel Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/departures-seating.md) - [Unwinding Multifunctional Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/better-energy-charge.md) - [10-Port Nightstand Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plugable-ps10cc.md) - [Grid-Connected Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-electric-pavilion.md) - [Multi-Port Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arkeep-halo.md) - [Recycled Seating Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atlanta-airport-chairs.md)
