The appliance works by being mounted on the wall and instantly going to work cleaning the air in a subtle way that won't interfere with any of the existing items within the home. The elevated design could also help with air cleaning by positioning equipment in a way that is more effective for continuous cycling of air. The conceptual 'Air Hole' wall-mounted air purifier is the design work of Lee Hyo Min and is finished off with a [digital clock on the face](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comfortpure) to further enhance the aesthetic of the appliance. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Wall-mounted Air Purifiers:** Opportunity for manufacturers to create space-saving air purifiers that can be mounted on walls, saving floor space. - **Smart Air Purifiers:** Developing air purifiers with smart technology that allow users to monitor air quality and control the device remotely. - **Multi-functional Appliances:** Creating multi-functional appliances that combine air purifying capabilities with other household functions, such as lighting or sound systems. ### Where This Applies - **Home Appliances Industry:** Manufacturers in the home appliances industry can create innovative air purifiers that cater to the needs of small urban living spaces. - **Smart Home Industry:** Opportunity for the smart home industry to develop smart air purifiers that integrate with other smart home devices. - **Interior Design Industry:** With the rising popularity of small living spaces, the interior design industry can incorporate wall-mounted air purifiers as practical and stylish decor items for small homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Slender Two-in-One Air Modifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humidifier-and-air-purifier.md) - [Ambient Illumination Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-purifier-concept.md) - [Hanging Pendant-Style Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abell-air-purifier.md) - [Light-Integrated Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airglow.md) - [Minimalist Purifying Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow.md) - [Drone-Equipped Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultro-air-purification-system.md) - [Style-Conscious Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/windmill-air-purifier.md) - [Minimalist Tile-Style Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/missaglia-tiles.md) - [Circular Minimalist Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iqair-atem-x.md)
